News

Now that this site isn't updated very much anymore, I'm going to direct you to Whedonesque for all your Joss Whedon related news. It's a great site with several updates every day.

Here's a page concerning what's up with the cast and crew of "Buffy" and "Angel" now that they are over.

July 2, 2003: Michelle Tractenberg (Dawn) has a recurring guest spot on the HBO drama "Six Feet Under." Adam Busch (Warren) is in a new TV show, "The Jury."

May 22, 2004:: "Angel" ended on May 19. :( James Marsters (Spike) shaved his blonde locks off on The Ryan Seacrest Show for an AIDS foundation. You can see pictures of his new 'do at his official site. Nicholas Brendon (Xander) has gone into rehab for alchoholism.

February 14, 2003: Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn) is in the new movie "Eurotrip." Also, it's official: This will be Angel's last season. :(

January 3, 2003: Emma Caulfield (Anya) will be in a Fox Family movie about a reality show like "The Bachelor". I think it's January 14. Also, Nathan Fillion (from Firefly, and Caleb on BtVS) recently was on "Miss Match". It is likely he'll be on again. "Miss Match" (w/ Alicia Silverstone) is on Fridays at 9 pm on NBC.

November 2, 2003: Ok, I came to a realization when watching "All the Way" on Halloween. Dawn's friend Janice is totally Joan of Arcadia!! I love that show! lol. At first I wasn't sure it was her because she had different hair and even her voice was a little higher and more ditzy for the part of Janice. So yeah, check out "Joan of Arcadia" Fridays at 8 pm on CBS cuz it's a pretty cool show. :)

September 26, 2003: Click here to read a special message from Joss Whedon about the new season of "Angel". It's quite funny. =)

September 21, 2003: Iyari Limon (Kennedy) can be seen in the new Always sanitary napkin commericals. I also read at iyarilimon.com that she's going to be in the first epsiode of the new season of "The Drew Carey Show". Also, this isn't brand new, but I was watching the John Sayles film "Sunshine State" and was happy to see Marc Blucas (Riley) had a small role in it. The movie came out in 2002 and is also very good, I recommend it. (I love John Sayles' films.)

August 22, 2003: On MTV's Big Urban Myth Show, one of the myths was that Sarah Michelle Gellar wore disguises at McDonald's. (That's an urban myth??) They proved that it was true. (I could have told them that!) :) I was watching it yesterday, but they might show re-runs. ::shrugs::

August 18, 2003: The season 5 premiere of "Angel" will be October 1, according to the official WB site. As you probably already know, James Marsters is joining the cast as Spike and Charisma Carpenter will no longer be a regular, though she will guest star time to time. "Angel" airs Wednesdays at 9 pm.

August 4, 2003: Alyson Hannigan was on the WB yesterday talking with Godsmack. I don't know anything more than that, I just caught it while channel surfing. ;)

July 28, 2003:: Alyson Hannigan (Willow) was on MTV's TRL Beachhouse promoting her new movie, "American Wedding" (the third and final "American Pie" installment). Her other co-stars were there as well.

July 22, 2003: "Chance" is now available on video and DVD! Amber Benson (Tara) is the writer, director, producer, and star. Other actors in the movie are: James Marsters (Spike), Andy Hallet (Lorne from "Angel"), Tressa diFiglia (who's married to Nicholas Brendon aka Xander), and Jeff Rickets (who played a member of the Watcher's Council). You can either buy an autographed photo or poster for $45 (or both for $55) and the DVD or video (your choice) comes free! For more information, click here.
